Venn is a shared household app for two people. This page explains what we store, why, and how to delete it.
What we store
- Account: your name, email address and profile picture from Google, or your Apple ID identifier and (if you choose to share it) email from Sign in with Apple.
- Household content you add: quests, shopping and ration lists, meals, trips, wishlist, home trackers (milk, paper, help), rewards, nudges, love notes, coupons and points, and your little one’s logs if you use the day board.
- Zakat entries: the amounts you type into the zakat calculator and payments you log. You choose whether your partner can see them.
- Beta access: which beta code was used to create your account.
- Google Calendar (optional): if the household owner connects Google Calendar, we store an encrypted refresh token and sync only a calendar Venn creates (“<Home> · Venn”). We request the
calendar.app.createdandcalendar.aclsscopes and never read your other calendars.
How we use it
Only to run the app for you and your partner: showing shared lists, syncing the shared calendar, and computing points and streaks. We do not sell data, show ads, or use any analytics or tracking SDKs. The website uses no cookies except the sign-in cookie.
Venn’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
AI features
Three features use Cloudflare Workers AI: the Sunday digest (written from your household’s weekly activity), “Add anything” (turns a sentence you type or say into a quest, list item, plan or log) and Coupon Vault (reads the code and expiry from a coupon photo). The text you enter, the audio if you use the microphone, and coupon photos you scan are sent to Workers AI to be understood or transcribed. Venn does not keep voice recordings; only the resulting text is saved, and only if you confirm it.
Who can see it
Everything in a household is visible to both members, except zakat entries you mark private. Data is stored with Cloudflare (Workers and the D1 database, and R2 storage for backups and photos where it is switched on) and encrypted in transit.
Deleting your data
Open More → Settings & sync → Delete my account. This immediately removes your sign-in, sessions, zakat data and Google connection, and revokes Venn’s Google access. If your partner remains, they keep the household; if you were the last member, the whole household is deleted.
